1 month

Schedule any beauty appointments. Hair and makeup is provided on the day If you are bringing your own lingerie, give yourself lots of time to shop for something that makes you feel confident and gorgeous in.

Day Before

Hydrate! Drink lots of water. And definitely avoid alcohol.

Take a long bubble bath to relax. Listen to calming music. Meditate or do some yoga.

If you are bringing your own lingerie try on outfits and narrow down your wardrobe selection. Moisturize your skin all over before bedtime. Most important of all: Get a good night’s sleep!

3 -6 months

You've scheduled your boudoir session with j.jae Boudoir, you go girl! This timeline will help prepare you for your empowerment session. How about that hot yoga class you’ve been meaning to try? The better you feel, the better you’ll look.

1 week

Stay out of the direct sun. A tan and or spray tan can make you look orange in your images.

If you get waxed, make sure it's at least a few days prior to your session to make sure any redness or irritation has subsided.

Drink plenty of water for that oh so beautiful & flawless skin. Avoid Alcohol, as it makes your face puffy, and dehydrates you!

day of

I might sound like a broken record with this tip, drink your water girlfriend! Use a clear deodorant. Wear LOOSE and comfortable clothing prior to arrival. This ensures there are no creases or marks from tight fitting clothing on your skin. Eat something light but filling. Pack a lunch, boudoir is a workout! You’ll have a 45 minute break to eat and look through albums while I edit your gorgeous photos. When you arrive for your shoot, we’ll provide you with your beverage choice: water, coffee, tea or soda to soothe those nerves.

You can either treat yo' self and purchase a few gorgeous outfits for your photoshoot or leave it to me, because girl, I've got you covered! At my studio, I offer over 1000+ pieces of lingerie and outfits ranging XS-4X. I literally have something for everyone.

My closet is packed with luxury robes, corsets, stockings, garters, jewelry, fun pasties, bondage accessories, crop tops/ white t-shirts, sweaters and of course lingerie.

If you choose to take advantage of the client closet, we ask you make sure to bring your own black bra and thong to hide under some of our favorite sheer garments you might end up choosing.
